Hello colleagues, friends, and collaborators -

ARC exists so consultants can focus less on tactical building, knowledge finding and more on strategic thinking. This is the first issue in a series of product updates, showing what’s shipping. You are on this distribution list because (a) you’ve graciously provided user feedback that helped to shape the early product roadmap, (b) we’ve chatted about our entrepreneurial aspirations together, or (c) I think you’re an awesome person and just want to keep you in the loop…

Four fun updates I wanted to share since we last spoke.

1. Sharper proposal intelligence

Proposal intelligence got a UX update. Faster identification of win/loss trends. Consulting leaders get a quick understanding of where the revenue is coming from and why. This would have been nice to have during my time in consulting, instead of throwing proposals into the black void!

2. Proposal generator, rebuilt

Next-best-action guidance, multi-service line pricing calculator, and a PowerPoint preview with built-in layout selector before you download. Users see the deliverable earlier and can make quick on-the-fly decisions on what layout to use.

Visual phasing appears at the top of the “Timing” block

Proposed fees summarized at top of “Pricing” block

3. Presentation layout editor

Consultants can easily preset slide master layouts now in tool while admins set for the entire organization. Setting a layout applies header/footer/logo settings across all exported slides. No more death by a thousand formatting paper cuts. No more wacky slide masters! No more time dedicated to adjusting native slide master whenever someone sends you a deck.

File/drive scanning, easy download, jump-to-source, real search + authoring so you know who published what and when. KB metadata fields help consultants find the right methodology, case study, or deliverable to use quickly.

Want to see it on your own pursuits? Or want to chat about innovative or magical features this should include?
